Frog Sounds is a lovely EP by Mark Kawabata, the newest addition to the Boots'n'Cats roster! This EP is full of catchy chiptunes-infused anthems, cute melodies, and just all-around gentle happiness.

In Mark's own words: "Yeah, I guess you can say it's an album about innocence or whatever. I don't think too much about it, god knows I do enough of that at uni. I don't even know anything about music theory! I just kind of do these little silly things for fun, you know?
I got the idea of doing more stuff like this when I did 'Welcome to Dreamland'. It was a gift for a very special friend, it was meant as the theme song for her Animal Crossing island, and some friends started saying it sounded like the music that frogs would make, and, like, yeah, guess so. Just thought it was funny, so I kinda went with it!
My little brother Jamie heard that I was doing this, and asked me if he could do the cover, and hell yeah! I guess that a big part of this album happened because I've been reading 'The Wind in the Willows' with him, so it made perfect sense. And it turned out really great, I'm proud of him!"

Mark intends to graduate from Yale Law School next year, and has the goal of specializing in Environmental Law. He would like to thank his family, his brother Jamie, and Ana.

Jamie intends to graduate from Elementary school next year, and he wants to be an illustrator when he grows up. He would like to thank his family, his big brother Mark, and his best friend Charlie.

The download of the album also includes a secret 8th track, titled "Swamp Rave"! In Mark's words, "I mean, even frogs need to party hard, from time to time, right?".
