In its quixotic attempt of branching out into weirder sound territory, Boots'n'Cats is proud to bring you BRAINMELTER's "Consolidation of Power", a deeply abrasive but not totally uncomfortable 14-minute long mastodon of a track. It's meant as an exploration of the soft and chaotic underbelly of electronic aesthetics, and our own relation with it.

BRAINMELTER (aka Iñaki Assis Pedrera) has been producing harsh and aggressive tracks for half a decade in his hometown in Galicia. He has been part of bands such as Analogous Death Disorder (a power-noise trio) and The Subtlety of the Sun (a noise-jazz collective), with this being his first solo release.

Iñaki would also like to make clear that the name of the track in no way refers to, and much less condones, war efforts, war crimes, or any form of violence against people. It is indeed a reference to the GoT board game.
